Perception & Computer Vision Lab
Our research encompasses computer vision, machine learning, and computational models of human perception.
We investigate how salient visual features—such as symmetry and structural patterns—can be used to describe real-world objects with contextual understanding.
With a focus on both theoretical insights and practical efficiency, we aim to model human visual mechanisms and build optimal feature representations for 3D object recognition and 4D body motion analysis.
Our recent work extends to a broader spectrum of tasks, including anomaly detection, image super-resolution, sign language translation, image-to-3D reconstruction, generative modeling, and visual style transfer.
We pursue highly accurate and real-time 3D reconstruction and visual interaction technologies for practical applications in robotics, AR/VR, and intelligent interfaces.
